Three main goals guided the development of the “Ethics in NLP” course:
🌱 providing students with an overview of the main ethical issues involved in NLP research and applications
🌱 stimulating them to take a critical, pluralistic approach
🌱 equipping them with conceptual and practical tools to be able not only to communicate with experts, but also – and chiefly – to help others to use language technology with more awareness.

The paper is packed with information about the course and its various editions, but mostly it showcases student-produced reusable outreach products, with pictures, testimonials, and lots of joy 🎈
